Vote for me, please!

The Colgate-Palmolive company has teamed up with the "Starlight Starbright Children's Foundation" (a charity for ill children). They are donating a Fun Center to the Children's Hospital with the most votes. I'd be thrilled if you would cast a vote for Children's Hospital of Michigan in Detroit. They take excellent care of my daughter when she has complications due to her kidney disorder.

Vote HERE.

Natalie thanks you for your vote!

Greetings in the Name of our Lord and Savior Jesus.

I went and voted for the hospital. You and your daughter are in my prayers. I have heard many good things about that hospital. May the Lord richly bless and strengthen you and your daughter.

Thank you for following my blog. You bring up a good point about how faith is worked in the hearts of the deaf for example. The word tells us also God promises to be there in a Divine manner in baptism. A deaf person can receive baptism for the audible Name is where the promise exists not in the ability for the person to hear it.

In addition faith comes by reading the scriptures. Sign language has been developed so the deaf can "hear' the sermons just as well as those who are not deaf.

The issue is the promise of God. He of course is omnipresent. However, we have His promises to be present in a saving manner in word and Sacrament.

We have a daughter who died in utero. Never baptized, never heard a sermon or bible study. Could God have given her faith anyway? Most assuredly YES! We trust God with Leah's salvation just as we do Gerald's, Adam's, Amanda's and Andrew's salvation. In addition our 10 grandchildren and their children.

God's peace. †
